MDL Court Updates: Tolling Agreement Standoff
The MDL court has arranged a virtual interim status conference slated for May 14, 2024, followed by an in-person session on June 6, 2024. Essential documents concerning protective orders, tolling matters, and procedural motions must be submitted by May 7, 2024, as per the court’s directive.
Of paramount concern is the tolling agreement, a pivotal issue in the proceedings. This agreement serves to temporarily halt the progression of specific legal deadlines, ultimately streamlining the litigation process and preventing undue strain on both parties and the court. Despite its clear benefits, Invidior has thus far declined to endorse the tolling agreement, potentially prolonging the legal proceedings and impeding the efficient resolution of the case.
