MDL Receives 86 Suboxone Lawsuits
On April 5, 2024, it was reported that 86 lawsuits related to Suboxone have been filed into multidistrict litigation (MDL). These lawsuits are part of a trend where plaintiff law firms are rushing to file claims before the statute of limitations expires in states with a two-year limit. This surge in filings follows a mandate by the FDA in June 2022, requiring Indivior to modify their warning label for Suboxone.
