Georgia Woman Files Suboxone Lawsuit Over Dental Damage

In a recent development, a Georgia woman initiated a lawsuit against Suboxone after experiencing extensive dental issues, such as tooth decay and the need for multiple extractions, due to using prescription Suboxone film. The medication was prescribed in 2016 to manage opioid use disorder resulting from an ACL injury and subsequent arthritis.

The central argument in this case, similar to other Suboxone tooth decay lawsuits, revolves around the alleged failure to warn. Despite using the medication regularly from 2016 to 2021, neither the patient nor their healthcare providers were reportedly informed about the potential risk of dental erosion and decay associated with Suboxone film.

Consequently, the woman now requires further dental treatments, including potential root canals or additional extractions and the possibility of dentures, and is seeking compensation for these injuries.
