About Robert B. Baker
Robert B. Baker is a Board-Certified Civil Trial Lawyer with more than 30 years of jury trial experience and over $400 million recovered for injured clients. Fewer than 1% of Florida attorneys hold Board Certification in Civil Trial Law, a credential Robert has maintained since 2002. He began his career as an Assistant District Attorney in Kings County, New York, before building a trial practice focused on product liability, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death.
His courtroom record includes a $39 million jury verdict against a personal watercraft manufacturer for a defective steering system — the largest personal watercraft verdict in United States history — and a successful appeal argued before the Florida Supreme Court that reshaped the state’s uninsured and underinsured motorist law. His firm’s verdicts and settlements include recoveries of $16 million, $7 million, and multiple results of $5 million or more in product defect, maritime, and negligence cases.
Bar Admissions
Robert is an active member of The Florida Bar (admitted 1989) and is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by The Florida Bar. He is admitted to the trial bars of the United States District Courts for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida, and holds inactive admissions in New York, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. Baker Legal Team is based in Boca Raton, Florida, and associates with co-counsel on cases across the United States.
How Our Case Review Works
When you submit a case review request, the information you provide is evaluated against the qualifying criteria for the relevant litigation. If your case appears to qualify, you will be contacted to discuss your options. There is no cost for a case review, no obligation to move forward, and cases are handled on a contingency basis — no attorney fee unless there is a recovery. Depending on the litigation, your case may be handled with co-counsel; the attorneys responsible for your matter and any fee division will be disclosed in your written representation agreement. Please read our Attorney Advertising Disclosures and Terms of Use.
Our Commitment to Accuracy
Every litigation page on this site is researched against primary sources — court dockets, judicial panel orders, FDA safety communications, and peer-reviewed studies — and updated as litigation develops. Every case is different, and prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome.
